This Month's Bird Talk Magazine (the November issue)

Postby christie on Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:13 am

Normally I don't do this, but I have read several posts, here and on another bird forum lately that are addressed in the November 2009 issue, yes I subsribe so I get it a bit early. Mistaking agression for play, handicapped birds, spoiled birds that don't stop screaming, lovebird agression, bird on bird agression, and even how to teach your bird to play! Probably my favorite article will be continued in the December issue, building an indoor finch aviary.

Even those of us who have owned birds for 20+ years can continue to learn about our feathered friends, and even if you don't normally look at these magazines, this issue is worth at least taking a look through at your local bookstore or pet store.
Owned by birds since 1988.

I too subscribe to Bird Talk. I love to read about other birds and keep current on what is happening in the avian world.

I would love to have more parrots but I don't love the constant cage cleaning, nor do I have time for more than the ones I have so I content myself by reading about other parrots and going into my local pet store that does a wonderful job of caring for their parrots.

Many of the articles contain helpful information that may be applied to any parrrot and the comments from other parronts are fun and often helpful.
