Pine Nuts v Pinon nuts

Is it pine nuts everyone gives their parrots or pinon nuts. I think it is pine but when I went to order I saw pinon as well & wasn't sure.

    Chris, it is the same thing other than the variety of tree the nuts come from. I buy my pine nuts from Costco. A big bag costs $19 CAD and all my birds love them. Might be a little difference in taste depending on the type of tree they come from.
