Postby eblake38 on Mon Oct 26, 2009 4:36 pm

Just wanting to know if zons can have raw celery, i have given it cooked in with mixed veggies, but want to try and give it raw. Don't want to do anything to harm them, so if someone knows, would you please let me know.

Raw celery is fine. I give it to my birds, especially the leaves. Now, there is not much nutrients in it. Far better to give, swiss chard, and romaine lettuce, as well as dandelion greens.

Cellery may not be as healthy as other vegetables, however it still has it's health benefits.
