I use AviClean on my cages, toys, birdroom floor and walls, etc:
http://www.avitec.com/AviClean-no-rinse ... -p/avc.htm You could get rid of most odors with a vinegar & water mix, but be sure to rinse it well and let the vinegar odor go away before putting the bird near it.
Do you know what's caused the odor? Is it a used cage? If so, a good cleaning is essential to protecting your baby 'zon. Many of us use steamers to clean our cages too. Mine is a Shark steamer, about $100 from Target.
