I don't know where you live but that seems like a lot for a zon. Although parrots are "known" for talking, dogs, cats, finches, mynahs, and starlings can also talk - or at least learn to mimic. Out of all the birds I've kept, only two could talk or at least mimic - but talking, to me, is not a "requirement" - its more like the icing on the cake! Fantastic if they do, but otherwise, I don't really care! They are, after all, birds, not mini humans who *need* to talk in order to make me happy.
If you want your amazon to learn to talk (and not just mimic) then you need to teach her things like you would an infant. Show them what objects are, tell them about the ojects, ask them about the objects, and just teach them. Tell your bird what you are doing, where you are going, when you will be back, etc. It's no guarantee that your bird will learn to talk, but it may improve the chances.
