I was just wondering if anyone here has a Yellow Faced Amazon? We currently have a LCA and have been considering
adding a second bird, I'd made up my mind for a Panama, but the Yellow Faced interest me but it's hard to find much
info about them (other than the fact that they are no longer considered to be of the Amazon family).

I know your frustrations about getting a bird no one knows much about, i have a pair of orange wing amazons. There is very limited information i can find out about them as well. So i just go by what ever the normal is for blue fronts amazon, so if mine are less noisy or more noisy then i can expect it, doesnt bother me at all. I was afraid to get them becaue not many know alot about them, but i was thinking, well if i get them then i can become one more expert with them, so dont be afraid to get it because not that many people know about it, get it because you want it and you can become the person to be called on when someone else gets one, and you know how to answer their questions about. i know my information doesnt help you, but i hope you get some inspiration from it anyway in making you decision to get your bird.
