We recently purchased two ringnecks...separate deals....4yr old male.....5 yr old female....both have parented before.....They've been together for about three weeks....He went to the nestbox two days ago and has been in there off and on....She has been poking her head in and out of it....I went out this morning to find he had been chewed on a bit...( no real damage but he had been abused a bit) Should I separate him, or is this abuse a normal part of the ringneck breeding process? Please respond...I'm worried.
