My name is Keri and I own a Goffins Cockatoo. I was recently away with my job and my husband was left to take care of our baby. Layla loved to sit on your shoulder while you were doing the dishes. Well one evening last week she lost her balance and fell in the hot dish water. Her lags, belly and bottom were scalded and burnt. The animal hospital kept her over night. My husband has had to give her 2 shots of antibotic a day and rub this ointment on her burns. She is really sad to see...but I have only been home 3 days and can see a major improvement. She is getting better...but it will take time. I just wanted to tell everyone to please be careful with your babies...any kind of freak accident can happen when you least expect it.
