I will try to make this brief. On Friday, Paleface, a 10 week old male tiel started acting "not himself." He did not want to eat. Perched all day and slept. did come down once to eat. Saturday, was about the same behavior, fell a couple of times off of perch. Also I put his food and water on bottom of cage as he has always had perching problems. (At what age do they get how to perch without seeming clumsy?) Once I did this, he ate like he normally does like a little ppiggy. Last night he climbed up on his perch, after about 2 hours fell off then stayed on bottom of perch for reast of night. At present besides seeming awfully clumsy, he is eating fine, drinking water, eyes are clear, no runny nose, droppings are fine. But he is lethargic. Since we got him (a week ago) he has never shown signs of being real steady on perch, has not shown any interst in playing with toys etc. but is a loving, sweet bird. Always ready to come out of cage and be with you. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance. Jill
