I have a male and a female eclectus. For a short time they lived side by side in separate cages. My male is 3 1/2 and my female is 2 1/2. They get along well when they are placed together in a neutral setting. Due to continual screaming I had to move my female (the screamer) upstairs to my bedroom out of the main living area. She lives in a large cage and has plenty of toys and food. Her screaming has recently calmed down; however, she has started biting and snapping at me even while I am holding her. She was very sweet before and never displayed this type of behavior. What can I do to stop her anry behavior and screaming?
Thank you for any help you can give.
