I just purchased a female parakeet for the male that I have had for a year - She was in a separate cage and he was feeding herand seems interested. After three days,I introduced her to his cage, he did not like it and he was trying to peck at her and get her to leave. She seemed content to be in his cage, but he would not let her eat so I put her back in her own cage and now he seems interested again. Is there a time limit I should wait to see if these two are suited for each other. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks.
