our grey akili has been lost most of her feathers except the one's on her head and upper neck and some on her wings; it appears to be a combination of molting and picking; how do we know the difference? she has been on diazepam per the vet for about a month to reduce anxiety that may be associated with picking; we are not sure we are doing the right thing at this time; also we are having a hard time finding another vet that is a specialist on greys; we identified one but he is not taking any new birds; have read a number of articles posted on the web and find the information over whelming and do not know what to really trust or believe; all suggestions welcomed; we live west of grand rapids, michigan
