My husband has had to give her 2 shots of antibotic a day and rub this ointment on her burns. She is really sad to see...but I have only been home 3 days and can see a major improvement. She is getting better...but it will take time. I just wanted to tell everyone to please be careful with your babies...any kind of freak accident can happen when you least expect it. Hi Keri and thank you for sharing your sad experience with us. I truly hope that Layla will recover completely. Your message can actually serve as a warning to ALL bird owners. Freak accidents always manage to happen when you least expect them and you were very lucky that Layla wasn't more seriously injured. Her burns are serious enough.
