I have a 7 year old female blue and gold macaw who is quite happy and spoiled with human
attention. She's been with us for 3 years. I am considering adding a 7 year old male blue and
gold who is looking for a new home. Are the macaws happy in pairs and will they still stay
friendly with their humans? I intend to keep them in separate cages in the same room, I am not
interested in breeding them.
