hi i breed sun and gold cap conures , my gold caps keep eating there eggs so i put some of there eggs under a pair of suns, one there eggs hatched but the baby always looks strate up my vet says this is star gazer disease. the bird on weaning now holds its head normal. the suns on the next clutch had 2 suns that have star gazer disease . my vet. doesnot know what causes the disease. i thought that it was only with the gold caps but after the next clutch the suns now have it . is this caused from the parents biting them to feed or what? thanks for any sugestions emil
